Reserve Early:  Novice cruisers think they can save money by waiting until the last minute to book a cruise.  Unfortunately, these people just don't know the reality of the situation:  the cruise industry is growing so fast, the cruise lines cannot keep up with the demand.  As a result, late bookers often miss out on the best cruises deals!

More importantly, late bookers do not save any money.  GalaxSea Cruises guarantee that when you book early you save the most.  So, if there is a "soft sailing" where the rates come down, GalaxSea Cruises will re-fare your cabin and refund the difference; you have our promise!  You have nothing to lose by booking early.

How Far In Advance should we reserve our cruise? It depends on the popularity of the cruise and your requirements.  Most people book between six and eight months in advance.   However, we suggest that, if you want a popular sailing date and a particular category, you should book a year in advance.

What are some of the usual reasons to book early? Here are the ones we see most:
  • bullet You've want a new ship for it's inaugural season:
  • bullet You want a room with a balcony
  • bullet You want a holiday sailing
  • bullet There is only one sailing date for a particular itinerary
  • bullet There is no flexibility with your travel dates
  • bullet It's your honeymoon
  • bullet You need a cabin for 3 or 4 people during the summer months or over a holiday
  • bullet Your partner  is traveling as a group or you require a specific bedding configuration
  • bullet You require a particular dinner seating, especially for late dining (early seating for Alaska)

Price is everything to me, What else can I do to save money?  If you'll make a few compromises, we can usually get you a lower price if:

  • bullet Only two people are traveling
  • bullet You will take an inside cabin
  • bullet You can drive to or otherwise arrive at, the port of departure
  • bullet You don't care about the location of your cabin
  • bullet You are flexible with your date of departure or itinerary

Are There Any special programs or incentives? We do have a few.   However, since different programs are always starting, check with your GalaxSea Cruises agent for the latest info before booking.
